I'm not sure who is responsible for keeping the sidewalk here clean. But all along this block it is absolutely disgusting and the growing level of trash is becoming hazardous.

There is never any heat in the whole building.
The hot water is on intermittently...

No heat... very cold in this house and landlord was informed and all the landlord said "put on a sweater because the heating is very expensive and I won't pay for it"

I have reported to the landlord many times and nothing has been fixed. The hot water is gone every morning and most evenings. If I do get hot water it is only warm not hot. I also have major leaks in my roof which have never even been atempted to be fixed.

Heat is inconsistent in 1st and 2nd floors, Landlord keeps lowering the heat and the rooms are freezing. 2nd floor has a kid and the kid is getting sick

Ever Since Last Year, there has been no hot water and i'm sick and tired of this. I had to heat water from my kitchen stove.

Contractors with work permits are gutting out old lead-painted apartments without using safe work practices generating huge clouds of lead dust in the alleyway right near my windows in the building next door at 203 West 107th Street. I have an 11-month-old son. I fear that there is so much lead dust that, even though we didn't open the windows during the fury, the air is extremely toxic in this alleyway and in this first floor apartment. We are staying here temporarily while our ninth floor apartment in the same building is being abated for lead (to protect my son). I believe our temporary refuge is, actually, much more dangerous as a result of this toxic renovation. According to one source, the Landlord of 205 W 107th did not even wet down the debris to control the spread of dust because then it would have been heavier and would have cost more to haul away. When I arrived home from work on Thursday, April 4, at about 4PM, I witnessed a worker loading unwrapped large debris onto a truck in front of my building and banging an old baseboard on the street. The Department of Environmental Protection responded to my 311 complaint, but by the time they arrived on April 9, the most dangerous activity was finished (for now). They reported that no violation was given and they do not appear to have investigated what had gone on the week of April 1 or to have bothered to view the alleyway I have photographed (see comments below). In Bloomberg's New York, the Department of Health and HPD are just as inept, complacent, and complicit in looking the other way.

I have reported no heat and hot water over 20 times through 311 and HPD. I am asking immediate assistance in aiding me in the right direction to get the landlord to comply with the law

Long line very deep tire tracks causing your car to stay on a railed pothole about 50 feet long or more! Very dangerous in this area has been like this for a while and this parkway connection is a busy one.

Regardless of the outdoor temps, heat delivery in this building is at 5 am, 12 pm and 9 pm - period. This is clearly an outrageous flaunting of the NYC heat regulations. (And heat was not delivered at all until well into November.)

Since 10 pm from January 22, 2013 landlord NOT heat and NO hot water.
