Description

Lessing Ln has a posted speed limit of 25mph and has ZERO parking restrictions. With the no parking restrictions residents in nearby neighborhoods have parked and left 17ft, 15ft, 9ft trailers not attached to any vehicles for multiple months and one for over a year. With all of the cars, trucks, and Trailers parking there it has turned Lessing Ln into a one lane road causing great concern for emergency vehicles and people walking in the neighborhood. I am requesting a study be done to either

1) put up some sort of parking restrictions like no more than 24 hour parking or no parking overnight. or

2) reduce the speed limit to 10mph or lower. I have called the Pima County Sheriff's department multiple times and every time it resulted in the vehicle being towed away or the owner removing it. This is a waste of law enforcements time and money. The county can easily put up no parking signs.

The Trailer owners are getting free storage on a public road at the cost to the homeowners that live on Lessing lane.

If you are not able to do this i would like a complete answer as to why it can not be done.

Thank you.
