Description
I am a frequent user of the portage city bike path. recently I have seen some things that are quite concerning. I have seen people smoking pot on the trail (near bicentennial park), i have seen people coming out of the woods onto the trail who look like they may not be there for just a walk (dealing or delivering drugs maybe-also by bicentennial park), and Sunday My wife and I were riding on the Eliason portion of the trail and had to move out of the way of 2 motor cycles coming up from behind us. As they passed us I let them know that the trail is for non motorized traffic only and they really didn't care. They were meeting up with a vehicle at the end of the business park road off of melody (maybe drug deal? ) My question is, Is there a way of having some sort of police or park personel presence to deter such activities?

The one I see most frequently is a gun medal grey newer Pontiac (not sure of the model) four door, with dark tinted windows. You can see it at Celery Flats, as well as the back parking lot in the park on Milham.
There is also a newer full size black Jeep hard top, four doors, with blackened windows, that is in the same locations, but on alternate days.
