Street Light Out Archived512 S Saunders St Raleigh, NC 27603, USA - CentralThe new LED street lights are overpowered for this narrow one way block of S. Saunders street. The two lights on our street are too bright for this neighborhood where the houses sit only a few feet off the road. They are shining in my bedroom like a spotlight. These appear to be the same models used a couple blocks away on a four lane road. Is there a less bright replacement for small neighborhood streets?

Signals / Signs Archived700 South Saunders Street Raleigh, NC 27601, USA - CentralCrosswalk signals are needed at this intersection. I cross here every morning on my way to the greenway and have been almost hit several times recently by cars not yielding. Because this is a wide road, even crossing when legal is difficult. Adding walk signals will help pedestrians but also remind drivers about who has the right of way.
