This is becoming a public safety issue: this guy is about to pass out on the road. Then my insurance will have to pay to get him care and fix my car. The whole area outside Town Park, Home Depot, and Franklin Plaza are overrun with transients, shopping carts and trash. Mr. Mayor, you want to meet people where they are at? Come out to this side of town.

Hello, I think I've been a pretty patient neighbor about this. I want to start with I do not blame the dog. The wall is far too low for this size dog. There are two sidewalks leading into Parkwest Park, this is one of them. The situation has made the sidewalk impossible to use! The entire neighborhood can't even use 1 of only 2 sidewalks leading into the park! I was empathetic early on, I know it's not cheap to raise a wall, but it's not that expensive either. It's been a couple years now. I've heard other neighbors have made complaints, yet nothing happens. I've also noticed that on occasion it appears they put some type of a shock collar on the dog as he does not bark. However this is not consistent and no one wants to take the risk in using the sidewalk any longer. This dog is inches away from your face if you are on the sidewalk. I've witnessed dozens of unsuspecting people have to jump out into the street in terror. It's wrong these people have claimed the public sidewalk leading into the park for themselves. For a while they had pigeon wire up which was absolutely useless, the remedy for this is raising the wall and stop terrorizing the neighborhood. The constant barking can be heard from blocks away as well. I want to reiterate I don't blame the dog, in this situation. Certainly there's some kind of statute that you cannot render a public sidewalk useless? Do we need to start a GoFundMe to raise the wall? Is there nothing you all can do to enforce this? Please help City Of Albuquerque! This has been going on far too long!

I no longer use the Smith on Tramway, Icon theater or any other businesses in that area do to how dangerous it has become. For over 10 years I always got my gas at the Smiths... now I am afraid to get out of my car... and I'm a middle aged male. I have no idea what fears and concerns the elderly or female population must feel un that area.

Now there is a growing homeless camp on the northwest side of Tramway and Central. Is there a plan to make that area safe again? What is being done about the makeshift camp? I cannot believe how bad that area has gotten in less than a decade.

City vehicle sitting in a Golden Pride parking lot idling. I guess city taxpayers are paid for expensive trucks, fuel and labor for employees to eat breakfast on the clock. Also, why do city vehicles need super dark window tinting? You can’t even see inside and who knows what the employees of our city are doing behind these dark windows, these tinted out windows can be seen on trash trucks, police vehicles, parks, and rec vehicles, and many other who is paying for these modifications? Is it the city? Or the employees doing it on their own so they can hide behind dark windows well on our clock. Oh yeah, that city vehicles now going through the drive-through at Golden pride. Where is the accountability?

Park was just cleaned up and vagrants moved out on Thursday 3/24, so they migrated to the S side of the park fence. As of 3/26 10:00am at least 7 tents/camps are back INSIDE the park. As expected the city failed us again by not permanently moving the vagrants out so once again taxpayers are on the hook for the costs. Great job Keller and city Council.

Lets see, it will take another 2 weeks for the vagrants to be formally notified again (every month) that they are not allowed to camp in the park (Keller Kampground). They'll get their monthly visit, slips of paper and maid service where the park will be cleaned up while they go to the other side of the fence and watch the workers laughing. Then when cleaned up they'll all migrate back within 2 days max while laughing at the public because they refuse to use the other services provided by the public and the politicians are foolish enough to think their methodology works. Some people will blame the ACLU (misdirection/redirection), some will weep over the supposed homeless there (this is their conscious choice to live this way and not use provided services), some will give them assistance thereby enabling them to continue their lifestyle, and others will blame those who oppose the vagrants in the park using all manner of misdirection and deflection. Bottom line is we have rules/laws governing camping in parks that are not being followed and with the silence from the politicians one can only assume they condone this behavior.

This is out of control, when is the city going to do something about the ILLEGAL camping here on a permanent basis? There are at least 15 tents set up on both sides of the fence by the dog park area right now. Is this what our city leadership has come to?
