    Homeless have been taking up residence in the bushes behind the complex on the 5600 block of Speedway, across from a residential area. Has been reported several times, but they simply keep returning. Hard to see, but they have all their belongings shoved up into the bushes, and at night they use the cardboard as a mat to sleep on.

    Bushes behind Autozone are persistently used by homeless and people doing narcotics. Trash is constantly an issue. Needles, baggies with white powder and tin foil with burnt narcotics residue can be found all over.

    Caller has contacted 311 prior regarding this concern. Caller was requested by TPD to contact code enforcement, regarding squatters living in the home where the owner is 102 and is no longer there, but in rehab. Caller is reporting that the squatters are involved in drugs and that there was a drug bust there previously with arrests being made. Caller is also reporting children there at times. Per the caller they enter through the back of the home and there are random people there at all times. and a dog that apparently does not belong to them as a person continually goes to the home and knocks on the door requesting that they give her their dog back.
