I think more traffic patrol would work. We all need speed bumps on our streets

Put a traffic patrol here for one day and you'd be rich with ticket income. Lots of speeding and blowing through stop signs. Specifically, there is one Nissan Altima in poor condition that drives 50+ mph on Alhambra every day and doesn't use any stop signs.

Well, apparently they have some additional discretionary funds and are planning to use part of them on traffic calming and blight abatement throughout the city. 2 of the intersections in our neighborhood are on a list of 20 that are receiving traffic calming and preventative measures for sideshows. 🤷 I'd love to see some combination of traffic calming measures like traffic islands with succulents planted in them, requiring no irrigation, blocking off certain roads so traffic has to weave through the neighborhood reducing the volume of passthrough traffic, speed bumps, etc. The roads are so wide over here and without markings it creates an environment for people to feel more comfortable at higher speeds even though higher speeds are not safe for residential streets.

Every time they say they have money something happens, I have a neighborhood Watch - Woodrow idora and i try to deal a lil with Reis. Because of the off ramp on Cedar we have idiots doing 100+ down the 200 BLk of Woodrow. We have been on this so called list for approx 6 yrs.
Plants yeah I hope we don’t get any new plants in Vallejo due to them dying or in severe need of cutting/weeding. The New Laurel over pass that runs between spruce n Reis and almond Laurel towards Benicia re has been overgrown for years i asked 3 1/2 years ago for someone to cut these down so school kids don’t have to walk thru bugs n weeds taller than them and still nothing… Not sure what’s going on with all the money/funding they get but we are definitely not seeing it
