These lights haven't been on in years! Why are they turned off? This parking lot is a breeding ground for illegal activity.

I am so happy that people are running and walking here now but it does feel unsafe with no lights and no police patrols

We just moved to the neighborhood in june, and my normal running and walking was in the daytime.. Due to a change in my schedule, I decided to change it to early am.. I carry a flashlight( to ward off skunks), and that helps, but seriously, a dark place means bad news and if we are trying to make vallejo a better place, leaving dark holes is a step backward it seems... I had no idea they had been off so long, but it seems odd no one has said anything until now.

The lights have been off for a long time now, but I still see plenty of runners,joggers, and dog walkers. But with that lot not lighted. Who's to say what's going on in there. It is a safety issue.

It is unlikely this will even be fixed.
Park is getting pretty dangerous with no lights and no enforcement. People parking there, playing loud music, and even doing donuts and driving recklessly in the parking lot.
