It's even worse today. Sidewalks blocked on both sides of street, and there are signs on BOTH sides telling pedestrians to use the OTHER side. Meanwhile instead of creating accessible detours you not only preserved all on-street parking, but actually increased it by allowing people to park in what's normally a bus lane.
