What have you been told, you have reported this multiple times

Why is the City of Folsom Parks and Recreation Department allowing overnight parking in our parks? How much is overnight parking? Where are the permits?

These vagrants have been in town since last year. They squat down at Parkshore area, WalMart, and Lembi Park. The city does nothing.

I took this pic in January and reported it squatting behind Sprouts. In the latter part of 2020 I reported it on Parkshore. So, nothing gets abated...

Someone needs to call Folsom PD and Code Enforcers (Pete Picardo) to report this and press them for an answer as to why they are allowing this to continue. They may cite Covid quire lines and the Sac County order not to bother homeless people sleeping in cars, RVs, or tents. Such lenient accommodations need to be rolled back now that Covid is on the wane. Officials probably need to be prodded to resume enforcement of these violations of Municipal Code. Could also ask questions about this at City Council meetings...

Code Enforcement won't do anything about these vagrant issues. Simply swipe through the many vagrant issues posted on this site---issues are typically "assigned" to parks maintenance and then "closed".
Responsible citizens and property owners are simply being ignored.

State Supreme Court has ruled the homeless cannot be moved or denied a place to sleep.

Motor Homes, trailers,
Trucks etc. to see real sadness. 😢

Occupants have a operable Motor “Home”.

Illegally parked across 7 diagonally stripped painted parking spaces.

Motorhome’s SUV not registered.

Motorhome should drive to Roseville Rd and camp out.

Real sadness is seeing Lembi parking lot turn into an illegal campsite for people who refuse to obey the law and park in designated authorized RV mobile parks.

Where motorhome can safely connect to an approved electrical source, sewer clean out dump sites are available for toilet waste water, and outdoor cooking is authorized.

Folsom has homeless shelters.

It’s a personal preference that enables blight and is a burden upon others.

If city officials don’t not stop this, it will become a bigger issue; much more RV camping.

Those people are not homeless! (Their homes are on wheels).

Is this even monitored by the city? I'm not happy to see that Lembi Park has become the designated "illegal activity" park in Folsom. Now there are multiple RV's camped out illegally. I don't see how Martin vs Boise applies to them. They have a home (the RV). They need to be cited for illegal parking and move to a location that is appropriate to park an RV for long term camping. I used to enjoy Folsom when I moved here in 2007. Now I hate all the greenbelt areas that are infested with vagrants.
