Description
There is a Red Ford Explorer, 2 doors, with license plate number EXS 0637 that has Pennsylvania plates that has been sitting in the same place with flat tires for at least six months. The tags expired on 3/11. It's still there. I'll keep writing until this decrepit and junky vehicle is gone. We are in Police District 14.

Ticket #1704345. Ticket forwarded to Police Department for follow-up. After the police investigate the vehicle, they will decide what needs to be done. The vehicle will probably be considered abandoned if:
--It is not operable/drivable (flat tires, etc.)
--It presents a hazard (broken glass, leaking chemicals, etc.)
--It has expired registration or inspection OR
--It was abandoned on private property (residential or commercial) belonging to someone else and is accessible to the public
Please remember that each situation is different. In some cases, the vehicle owner may receive a courtesy notice from the Police Department informing them of the intent to tow. If, following an eleven calendar day waiting period, the owner has not brought their vehicle into compliance with the law, the Police Department will have the vehicle removed.
