If you can give me some reason why this request should be handled before all the others from Vallejo residents submitted before this one, please let me know. We wish we did, but we do not have the staff to handle these any sooner than we currently are. Our p/t, yes they are only p/t under California law, Police Cadets are currently working on requests from 2022. It will be awhile before they get to this request. Creating a duplicate request will not speed this process up. Thank you for your patience.

It’s been A Year and a work order was made and still nothing! I’ve made requests and they have been dealt with waaaay sooner than this so stop blowing smoke!

On a rare occasion, some requests may be handled by an Officer or Police Assistant that happens to be in the area on another call and has time to deal with a vehicle that is obviously abandoned, unaware the vehicle already has a request on it. We have more than 2,500 pending requests, no smoke! We only have 2 p/t Police Cadets assigned to Traffic to handle these besides their other urgent duties, like accidents and traffic control. Due to staffing shortages there are no longer Police Officers assigned to Traffic. The Cadets are currently working on requests from early 2022.
