Description
The Fence along South Regatta Drive is falling down. This has been reported several times but the City will not take responsibility for fixing it. Instead they say it's the States problem which is simply not true. A sign on the fence says it was built by Tri-City Fence Co Inc. Located at 1175 Benicia Rd. 94591. 7076445764. Why not contact them and ask who paid them to put the fence up in the first place? Please don't just ACKNOWLEDGE this and do nothing it is really becoming a hazard. Someone named Courtney L said she would look into this problem but that was over 3 months ago. If the City Officials don't have the power to work on this let me know the Mayor's number and I will call him. This is really becoming a hazard, and is a very busy area with walkers, bikers, and Pedestrians. If someone gets hurt I'm afraid a lawsuit would follow and that would not be good for the City of the Community. Please Help resolve this.

I've been thinking more about the Dilapidated fence that runs along the waterfront of South Regatta in my neighborhood. Over the years this fence has badly detiorated and is falling down. Many of my neighbors have tried to get the City of Vallejo to fix it but the City seems intent on letting the fence become a hazardous mess.
Maybe what we really need is for this mess to be removed. I walk the LOOP of South Regatta to North Regatta and around Glen Cove Parkway Daily and removing this eyesore would be a big improvement. The Home Owners along South Regatta would have "Water Front" property and the views of the Straight would be vastly Improved. It's not like this falling down mess serves any purpose the carcasses of dead animals can be seen on all our streets from time to time.
