Sidewalks and Curb damage Acknowledged740 Whalley Ave New Haven 06511, United States - WestvilleAny chance these Whalley Ave sidewalks on the side of Edgewood Park will be redone? No way anyone in a wheelchair can ride on these. The sidewalks on W Rock Ave side have been redone and are great.

Trash Can Gone from Park Archived946-956 Whalley Ave New Haven Ct 06515 USA - Westville
No trash can in Beecher Park—but there is a spot for one! Please add a trash can.
Someone constantly lets their dog dump here, and if there was a trash can maybe it would at least *spark* a thought to use a trash can.

Policing Issue ArchivedEdgewood Skate Park New Haven, Connecticut - Edgewood
Sunday morning. Potential man having prostitute in car in back road near Edgewood Skate Park
Other weekends, potential drugs deals happening in the parking lots near tennis courts. Usually mornings.
Police, please patrol the park better. Neighbors, be on the lookout so our park can be safe.

Bins for Trash & Recycling Archived98 West Rock Avenue New Haven, Connecticut - Westville
Just hoping to get a trash can outside of Deja Brew. The owner must have issues with people putting dog poop bags in her trash, because she has signs all over her trash cans saying not to use them.
A lot of people walk their dogs in Westville, and there are very few trash bins to dispose of dog poop. This would be a very convenient spot and eliminate issues for the neighborhood coffee shop.

Yield To Pedestrian Sign Gone ArchivedOlive Street At Court Street New Haven, Connecticut - Wooster Square
Was this on purpose? Been missing for days. Please put another up. Would also be interested in what is the LONG TERM PERMANENT plan for traffic calming on this road.
Honestly, the small yield sign helps. But it's not enough. Why can't we just add a large painted walkway or raised pavement in the same area? Clearly some decorative paint lines can't that expensive.

Parks Request ArchivedWooster Square Park New Haven, Connecticut - Wooster Square
The person currently mowing Wooster Square park completely demolished one of the light posts in the center of the park.
It's currently knocked over, in pieces, broken glass spread everywhere, and no safety markings around it. And now 1 less light post in this historic park.
I hope the worker gets fined for this. How they managed such destruction can only come down to carelessness.

Bins for Trash & Recycling Archived1-19 Academy Street New Haven, Connecticut - Wooster Square
Trash bins are so full in Wooster Square park. Please empty.
Also, why are there now just blue bins which are meant for recycling? This causes confusion as there are no plain trash bins.
Please update with correct bins if you wish for people to follow recycling/trash policies.

96 Olive St New Haven, Connecticut - Wooster Square
Every weekday cars speed well over 30 MPH on this residential road. It seems as though a lot of people are bypassing more car-friendly, wider roads like State St to commute to and from work. Perhaps people are heading to Wooster Street... not sure.
Either way, some sort of speed enforcement should be put into place. My suggestion would be something as easy as a few speed bumps or maybe even stop signs. There is a lot of foot traffic in the neighborhood crossing over Olive Street either by people heading to downtown, walking their dogs or just living there. I can't tell you how many times I've parked my car or tried walking to downtown and how long I've had to wait at crosswalks for cars to stopping zooming by.
