Q. Explain the issue
A. NJ license plate B80 KVY - this car is currently parked illegally at the corner of Locust and Maple Terrace. This car has been illegal parked in this spot for 12+ hours overnight without an overnight parking permit. This car and several other cars consistently park in yellow no parking area at this intersection. Further many of these same cars are parked in same area without overnight parking permits. Parking too close to corner is obviously a danger to motorists as it is difficult to see oncoming traffic and traverse safely; in addition, it is also a danger to pedestrians crossing the street including the many school children crossing to and from school. I would ask the town and police to take this complain seriously and be more proactive in enforcing parking regulations and overnight parking permits. Thank you!
