people are turning from the wrong lanes. The lanes are properly marked but refuse to follow them. Also people are running the stop sign at the apartments
I'm not saying that I'm a perfect driver myself, but I think that part of the problem at this intersection is that people just do not know how to drive. It causes a big problem when people stop right in the middle of the intersection because they thought that they would be able to make it through to the other side before the light turned red. This isn't turning out of Wal-mart, but coming from the left hand side towards Wal-mart and also across the street going towards downtown Branford. I think that the only solution to this problem is for people to be more careful and thoughtful when they drive in this area...
my question is why is there a straight lane there to begin with? who goes straight from there? 1 or 2 people a year at best. to have a lane devoted to the Goodwill drop off site is the biggest problem.
