Description
Two light poles were installed in the park, but lights were only placed on one of them, leaving more than half of the park in darkness. Union Street is already very dark, and we are still dealing with people throwing trash and bottles in the park, using it to relieve themselves, and committing acts of vandalism. Park of the chain link fence was ripped out on Sunday night. We need lights mounted on the other pole! (The photo is just for inspiration, it is not really the park, because the park is too, well, DARK to take a picture).

Could someone at the city let me know who to contact personally, since the person whose name I was given by another contact has never answered my emails.

I just received another automatic warning from SeeClickFix, this time noting that this issue has been open for 61 days.
Could someone from the city post here to let the park users know how much progress has been made in changing the light bulb?
Once again, I have to point out that SeeClickFix is not used effectively by the City of New Haven. It is not only intended for residents to inform the city of problems that need attention, but rather is also meant for the City to acknowledge receipt of this information, and to keep residents informed about how and when the issues will be addressed. This is not done on a consistent basis, which creates the appearance of lack of caring, or dysfunction, both of which are very negative.

OK, it's been seven months.
It should be obvious that the city agencies are, to put it kindly, inconsistent about keeping up with maintenance. New Haven really cannot change a lightbulb given 7 months.
Our user group may be able to raise the funds to purchase the lamp if that is what is causing the delay.
