I realize the City has plans to demo, and said they would have security -- but can the City leave these reports open until someone actually fixes the issues, i.e., boards the place up again? It will be months before this bldg is demo'd, but in the meantime, we want to minimize the nuisance.

A pre demolition hazmat assesment/inspection will be needed , this could be done now! , "essentially re-occupying the building" this will be needed to @#$% costs anyway and will determine method/location for debris disposal .

Apparently the structural issues that prevent staff from keeping the B&P boarded up are not obstacles to squatters. Plywood clearly ajar on three west-facing windows today (venting?).
Also, please have security *circle* the building when they pass it. A neighbor reported that at the same moment that security was parked on one side of the building, a squatter entered the building from the opposite side. Alas, very similar to the position of security cameras...
