What a surprise to see this pile of trash cleaned up and people in the process of cleaning the railroad tracks southward off Sereno dr. Thank you to whomever cleaned this up and the farther down the tracks.

It must have just happened in the last few days because I was at Kaiser and sure didn't see this mess. Not at all. Yes, the City needs to at least keep this kind of property cleaned up even tho it might belong to the RR's area. The RR is NOT going to come and clean any of the RR tracks we have in Vjo and our City most likely won't do a darn thing about it. We need to get rid of all our City Workers and get some how live here in Vjo and then perhaps they will take care of things that need to be done because the workers we have now in City Hall do not care at all. They come to work, then leave town and go home. It's disgusting to say the least. No PRIDE in our city at all.

Wilma, you are absolutely right! I have been saying this for years. The city employed workers who are paid through our tax dollars should be more proactive about their work than what has been the norm over the last 20 years. Nothing gets done in this town by these workers until a work order is issued. What a joke! Every worker regardless of a work order should be told to pick any garbage piles dumped on our streets, clean up any mess they see and fix anything that is broken without having to go through a work order process. The city administration at city hall could care less about the appearance of the town, why?because 99% dont live here and could care less! They collect their 6 figure salaries and go home every day to their quaint homes outside of Vallejo. The town has turned into a DUMP! The problem at the old K-Mart site still hasnt been addressed and probably never will be, so sad. What a sight for sore eyes!
