it's 3:52pm there is no heat. i have 2 children in my home as well as many other children and babies living in this building. the heat only comes on at night at a very low temperature, i basically leave my hand on the heater.

Hi Maxine,
Please first call 311 to file an official complaint with the city housing authority. Then post the name and phone number of your building management and we will call them on your behalf.

The Public Advocate's Office is planning to hold a press conference to help improve the heat and hot water program at HPD. They are looking for tenants, in buildings with on-going heat and hot water problems, who would like to participate in the press conference.
