I have lived on Morse Place for Over 4 years and have not seen any type of street Maintenance performed. the street is poorly swept once a year due to chunks of asphalt coming up off the street. the storm sewers got repaired last year after having saw horses stuck in them for over 3 years. meanwhile there are one way streets running parallel to morse place (pope and Fort hale) these see half the traffic, including no truck traffic, their streets are beautiful with no hole and curbs installed.meanwhile there is grass growing up thru the cracks in morse place
Attended the mayors open house at nathan hale school , spoke with him and the highway department , everyone says Alderman holding up approving money to fix street
Found out #57 morse place has driveway damage and got acknowledgment from the DPW already. WTF I have been trying to get someone since last spring????????????????????????
Road issue is not closed, nothing has been done to replace the 2 feet of yard i have lost from poor road conditions, flooding and runoff.Curbs need to be in INSTALLED per DPW managers comment at Public meeting , private meeting and the MAYORS NIGHT OUT MEETING AT THE Nathan Hale SCHOOL THIS PAST FALL < issue IS STILL OPEN!!!!
ISSUE IS NOT CLOSED UNTIL SOMEBODY FROM THE DPW CONTACTS ME AND ACTUALLY COMES OUT TO MY HOME TO DISCUSS THE ISSUE AND BE SHOWN WHATS WRONG IN FROM OF MY RESIDENCE
i have lost over 2 feet of my front yard due to water not being diverted by lack of curbing , causing asphalt to buckle and break Discussed with DPW super at the last community meeting with the mayors night out , still no responce 6 months later. are you kidding me?
still nobody from the city came out to look or discuss issue with me or my neighbors, meanwhile my front lawn is being erroded away each rain storm I cannot get anyone to come and look even called my alderman he was of no use at all....
Still have not sen anybody or heard from any city officals about how to stop the erosion of my front yard due to lack of curbs and the water that flows down the street
street still remains unrepaired no curbing as of today but the street is being marked by the water company and the gas company looks like they are getting ready to do a massive trench right up the right hand side of the street there goes more of my yard
Note in my mailbox stating the the Gas company is going to run a new gas Main up my side of the street... more digging and more of a mess to be left by them, no time frame when they will shut off street gas service to home ...just some day in the "NEXT MONTHS" is all the letter says????
I have a promise from the State Highway Dept/ that they will fix curbs damaged by plows and now by road milling and paving. What do you think my chances are? We already have to police ourselves in the Cove, John. Better get a big Tar machine and start repairing that road!! It's austerity in the extreme.
I honestly suggest the neighbors get together and sue
Election Year they come pounding on door,, but the Street remains a disaster Should be renamed to Tobacco Rd. meanwhile All the other streets with Curbing are being repaved now.......
We are trying to delineate issues that are current and need the city's attention to resolve. Any issues prior to 2013 are being closed. If your issue remains and needs to be addressed by the city, please either re-open or open as a new See Click Fix issue. Thanks.
