Descripción

Dangerous storm surge area.

There were two ‘geysers’ coming out of street during Tuesday’s storm. I have never seen anything like it in 26 years in New Haven.

Wonder if adding bioswales on flat section of Fountain Street would help alleviate run off from the two hills on 243. Or some other infrastructure upgrades.

This intersection was severely flooded with plumes of water rising out of manholes.

I tried to avoid it by taking west rock street, and barely made it through the first dip in the road.
