Deskripsyon

The vacant hospital and the fact that no trash cans are on the block makes people think it is OK to litter the entire block. When street cleaners are in the vicinity for post New Years clean-up of the mummers/2 street parties, why not clean 4th street with the street sweepers at the same time?

I've been complaining about this for years. have cleaned it up myself a few times... The owners of the hospital don't do anything about clean up. They barely take care of the sidewalks after a snow storm. Pennsport now has a neighborhood association, but i'm sure the complaints are falling on deaf ears.

Spring clean-up took care of most of the garbage, for now.

The dog problem is getting worse,they just let them go on other peoples property or grounds,or in the park and leave it ,the dumping of trash is getting bad too. look behind any store down on oregon ave like toy or us. and you see tires, and trash bags,carts everywhere you go. No one is taking rsepsonible for the quality of life issues.Why arent the markets held accountable for there carts?? why arent there camera to stop the dumpers.Catch a guy dumping trash and take his car or truck until he pays a 1000 fine the first time.Today i saw how many people with carts pick up trash and debris to sell down the plant toward the bridge,its like a assembly line of carts, that they stole. and we pay for those carts in the price the markets charge us.
