No, these trees have not been trimmed. At 5’7”, I have to duck when walking on the sidewalk.

A scope of work is being developed for pruning in this area.

Although there was significant trimming of shrubs along the Parkway on SATURDAY(!), trees don’t appear to have been trimmed at this spot at the Park or north of the Park (along the walking path).
Perhaps the work plan has not been finalized yet.

Some trees may have been trimmed but some are still quite low hanging over the sidewalk.

Just noticed, now that trees are in bloom, that the branches ARE still hanging pretty low over sidewalk.

Trees still hang low over sidewalk making passersby duck to avoid. LMD Sup is aware and indicated trimming may occur NEXT fiscal year.
