A friend saw a tire blow-out on this sink-hole earlier this week (it was a taxi, too). Philadelphia needs a citizen-marketing campaign circulating #PotholeCity to create a negative national image that needs to be addressed. A population increase and a huge amount of construction throughout the city, yet Philly remains notorious for its potholes, with far too many that can be labeled dangerous.
