This is a fenced in lot that is completely & utterly abandoned by the owner.
Here is a list of things that need to be fixed immediately to keep up with the standards of neighborhood.
- outside the fence there is overgrown grass and weeds and tons of litter that is piling up.
- there is broken glass, bricks, & other rubbish that has been dumped there that has NOT been cleaned up by the owner.
- inside the fence the grass is waist height, if not higher.
- inside the fence there is also other garbage that has been dumped.
There are many children that run around the neighborhood that play around there & no one wants to see them hurt by the glass & other broken things that are strewn about.
It is also a huge eye sore in the area. Owners of properties and home owners around here take huge pride in our homes & KEEP up the homes & sidewalks. This owner should do the same. They are an absentee owner that is NOT living up to their obligation.
Thank you in advance for sorting this out.

This was reported over a month ago & there has not been any progress. The area has gotten much worse. Can someone please contact the owner of the property to ensure they keep their property clean like ALL the other owners in the area?
thank you

Pictures will be taken of violation and notices will be sent to property owner (thirty business days).
Property owners will have a specified time (twenty business days) to comply with violation notice. Once the compliance period is over, a re-inspection of the property will occur (ten business days).
If owner complies with the notice (cleans vacant lot), no work will be performed by the City and the case will be closed.
If the owner does not comply, a City Crew will be assigned to clean the property (thirty business days) and the property owner will be billed for all cost associated with the clean up.
This process may take up to 90 days from the initial complaint to the date of the clean up, possibly longer in summer months.
